NEW YEAR, NEW BEGINNING, NEW WISDOM

When it began, the year 2020 was dubbed the “Year of 20/20Vision.” We saw and heard it everywhere. I can't help but wonder how many still claims it as such. Many struggled to “cope” with everything that was happening. Many experienced grief, loss, sadness, depression, and helplessness. Likewise there were many that experienced the most extreme spiritual awakenings in the midst of it all. They saw these tumultuous times as a shaking up of their spirit, a wake up call and an opportunity to exercise their faith. The year 2020 has come and gone and today as every other day is a new beginning. God is in the business of making all things new.(2 CORINTHIANS 5:17) You don’t have to wait for a new year. His healing brings restoration beyond understanding, no matter what day, what you’ve done or what you are going through. ISAIAH 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”{NIV} If 2020 was your “Year of Vision” let 2021 be your “Year of Wisdom." A year of seeking God with your whole heart. Tapping into His knowledge, His wisdom and His way. Proverbs 9:10The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.” To fear God is to reverence and honor Him. Once we truly know who God is, we reverence Him in our hearts. Even the thief on the cross, after he realized who Jesus was, rebuked the other thief for his irreverence: “Don’t you fear God?” he said; then he turned to Jesus and honored Him as the King (Luke 23:40–42). God is faithful and He is good to us. It is only by His grace we are still here. You can be confident that He is with you in every season. As you step into this new year, "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom”. Colossians 3:16 Be Blessed! Pastor Charles Gamble
